Today ‘s leaders are in charge of Change and Growth of World current YMCA , a world in continuous social and cultural evolution . A leader is a source of inspiration , motivation and enthusiasm . Clearly , to be the leader he/she should be passionate for work and activities in which participates . YMCA Siderno , on the past of the European Alliance YMCA and experience of our volunteers and staff , has decided to create project ” leader in Europe ” , with the aim to host volunteers or professionals YMCA staff , and , above all , give to our volunteers or staff a new experience in other contexts YMCA and associations .
WHAT IS LEADERS AROUND EUROPE ?
It is a project designed to interconnect YMCA Siderno with different movements to allow volunteers to participate in a growth experience in a “new ” YMCA , enabling them to gain greater knowledge of reality and the spirit that moves our organization at international level .
PROGRAM
PERIOD : 3-6 weeks between May and September each year
ACCOMMODATION : Accommodation and meals are provided for the period ( type of accommodation)
ACTIVITY : The volunteer will work on sports programs , kindergarten and after-school , recreational activities and at the restaurant and bar . The program will be developed based on the period chosen .
